Completed - November 2019 as a commission for someone’s recording studio

This mural is based on the folklore of Hou Yi and the Ten Suns.  In Chinese folklore, Hou Yi, anarcher with a magical bow shot nine disobedient suns scorching the earth out of the sky.  In this mural I recreated my own version of this fable where bird beaks transform into magical arrows shooting the suns out of the sky. Rather than an archer, a presiding sky spirit mother who has a stork for hair, sends her bird children in the form of arrows to protect the earth from burning.
