My Aunt Mary commisioned me to paint a mural in her bedroom. She wanted a calming mural inspired by traditional Chinese and Japanese landscape paintings that celebrated the seasons.

I looked at many traditional paintings to find plants and animals that I felt would work well together in the space to create a soothing and beautiful scenery for her to enjoy.
